Shipping Policy
How we deliver and install your equipment, what it costs and how long it takes.
This Shipping Policy explains how 247 Medical Equipment delivers wheelchairs, hospital beds, mobility aids and rehabilitation equipment, what it costs and what to expect once your order is confirmed. It applies to individual buyers and to institutional customers such as hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres and nursing homes.
Delivery Areas
We deliver across India. Coverage, lead times and available services vary by location and by product. For orders outside our regularly covered areas, we work with approved delivery and installation partners. Contact us with your delivery address and requirements and we will confirm what is available for you.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery and installation times depend on the product, the quantity ordered and your location. For standard orders in our covered areas, we aim to arrange delivery as quickly as possible after order confirmation. Larger institutional or bulk orders, and products built or configured to a specification, may require a longer lead time.
Any timeframe we quote is an estimate given in good faith. We will tell you promptly if something changes.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges depend on the product, the size of the order and the destination. Any applicable charge is set out on your quotation before you place an order, so there are no surprises at the point of delivery. Prices exclude delivery and applicable taxes unless the quotation states otherwise.
Installation and Commissioning
Some equipment requires assembly, installation or commissioning before it can be used safely. Where this applies, we will confirm what is included with your order. For institutional customers we can also provide basic staff guidance on safe handling and day-to-day use at the time of installation.
Receiving Your Delivery
- Please make sure someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery at the address and time agreed.
- Check that the packaging and contents are correct and undamaged before signing.
- Ensure there is safe, clear access to the delivery location — particularly for larger items such as hospital beds and mobility scooters.
If a delivery cannot be completed because access was not available or no one was present to receive it, a re-delivery charge may apply.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If any item is damaged in transit, incomplete or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as possible and in any case within a reasonable period of delivery, with photographs where you can. We will arrange a repair, replacement or collection as appropriate. Do not use equipment that appears damaged.
Delays Outside Our Control
Occasionally delivery may be affected by events beyond our control, such as transport disruption, weather, supplier delays or restrictions imposed by authorities. Where this happens we will keep you informed and work to deliver as soon as we reasonably can.
Title and Risk
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full, unless your agreement with us states otherwise.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy as our services or delivery arrangements change. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies.
